Nichele is a Filipino–Taiwanese artist based in Taipei, creating delicate, dreamlike artwork under her brand thearticsoul. By day, she works in tech; by night—and most weekends—she transforms everyday moments into art from her apartment studio.

She has been painting with watercolor for as long as she can remember, drawn to its softness and fluidity. Over the years, she has translated that same gentle quality into her digital work, while recently exploring pattern-making and repeat design.

Her artwork often features florals, elegant trinkets, and all things pretty—visual reflections of the small, meaningful details that inspire her daily life. Feminine, airy, and quietly romantic, her designs are meant to feel wearable and personal.

When she’s not creating, Nichele can often be found testing new recipes or dancing hip hop and street jazz. Whether on paper, on a plate, or on the dance floor, she finds joy in expressing creativity in all its forms — in collaboration with DenimINK.
