Hi, I’m Nichele, a Filipino-Taiwanese artist based in Taipei.

By day, I work in tech; by night (and most weekends), you’ll find me in my apartment turning everyday moments into art. I’ve painted with watercolor for as long as I can remember, and for the past five years or so, I’ve been bringing that same softness and charm into my digital work with my iPad.

My art often features florals, elegant trinkets, and all things pretty, which reflect what I find inspiring in the small details of life. Through my brand thearticsoul, I hope to share art that you can wear —pieces that add a feminine touch and a hint of dreaminess to everyday denim.

When I’m not creating, I’m probably in my kitchen testing new recipes or at a local dance studio moving to hip hop and street jazz beats. I love expressing creativity in all its forms, whether it’s on paper, on a plate, or on the dance floor.
