Indira — a Latina, Cuban-American designer and artist based in Miami — blends her passion for lettering, illustration, and cultural storytelling into designs rooted in craft and expressive detail.

She draws inspiration from her Cuban and Caribbean heritage, nature, and the rhythms of everyday life. From lettering-focused artwork to patterns inspired by local flora and wildlife, her pieces reflect both cultural pride and artistic imagination.

When she’s not designing, Indy enjoys beach days, adventuring with her family, and living life fueled by cafecito. Digitally printed and hand-crafted into jackets, pillows, aprons, tote bags, and décor, her artwork brings expressive color and warm personality to every denim piece.

About the Artist - INDYSIGN CREATIVE

📍USA MIAMI

My name is Indira, or Indy, a Latina, Cuban-American designer + artist based in Miami, FL.

I love designing letter forms, either a lettering design, or a brand that’s all about letters. I’m also obsessed with illustration and my cultura, currently working on a pattern collection about flowers and wildlife of Cuba and the Caribbean.

I am a Miami designer rooted in craft and decoration, yet always drifting somewhere just above the clouds. Every piece, whether design, lettering, or art, is made to feel natural, modern, and subtly expressive, like the best version of you showing up in an unguarded moment.

When I’m not creating I’m hanging out with my family, you could most likely find me on the beach or at any park around Miami with my baby girl. I love traveling and we go as far as we can every time we get a chance. All while surviving on cafecito! This design and mama life would’t be possible without it.
