  • Very detailed artwork description

    A
pink flamingo holding a mint green vintage telephone receiver to its beak, its
long curved neck forming a looping arc above a matching rotary phone. the
flamingo’s feathers are painted in layered pink and coral strokes, with a
black-tipped beak and yellow eye. a yellow background patterned with repeating
floral shapes fills the scene. this artwork is titled “Pink Flamingo on the
    Phone 1” and created by
    Amélie
    Legault

    You
drift first into the curve of the flamingo’s neck, which bends inward with
deliberate elegance, looping above the mint green phone like a ribbon held in
midair. The posture feels conversational rather than posed — a gentle lean
toward connection, a body adjusting itself to listen. The flamingo’s torso
rises from the lower right, feathers flowing upward in layered strokes, while
the phone rests firmly on the surface below, grounding the scene in quiet
    domestic stillness.

    Your
eye follows the feather work along the neck, where brushstrokes stretch
lengthwise, narrowing and widening in a steady rhythm. Pale pink highlights
skim over deeper coral tones, especially along the inside of the curve where
pigment gathers slightly thicker. That subtle ridge marks the bend of the neck,
a physical truth rather than a decorative line. On denim, this ridge breaks
into textured light and shadow as pigment settles into the twill, making the
curve feel weight-bearing — a body flexing gently under its own calm.

    A
shift in mood happens at the beak. The black tip cuts cleanly against the pink,
anchoring the face with contrast and focus. The mint receiver presses lightly
against it, its surface smoother and more evenly filled than the feathers it
touches. That meeting — textured plumage against polished plastic — introduces
a quiet tension between organic and manufactured. You can almost hear the pause
before speech, the silence where listening lives.

    Then
comes a new kind of motion in the phone cord. It coils downward in soft, even
spirals, echoing the arc of the flamingo’s neck in miniature. Each loop is
consistent but relaxed, never taut. On fabric, these coils catch light unevenly
as the jacket moves, creating a visual rhythm that feels audible — like the low
hum of a call still connected.

    The
rotary phone itself sits steady and composed, its circular dial repeating holes
and numbers in a precise ring. The mint color cools the warmth of the
flamingo’s pinks, offering balance rather than contrast. Behind everything, the
yellow background blooms with repeating floral shapes, their edges softened
just enough to feel atmospheric. The pattern doesn’t push forward; it holds the
scene gently, like wallpaper that has always been there.

    When
this artwork lives on stonewashed denim, the pink feathers soften immediately.
Pigment spreads into the worn grain along the neck and chest, causing layered
strokes to blur slightly into one another. The ridge at the curve loosens, and
the flamingo feels more embodied — less illustration, more presence. As the
jacket shifts, light breaks unevenly across the pink surface, giving the
impression of slow breathing and relaxed posture.

    On
stonewash, the mint phone warms subtly, its edges easing into the fabric. The
yellow background dulls into a mellow glow, and the floral pattern recedes into
texture. The entire scene feels nostalgic and intimate, like a long phone call
that stretches comfortably into the evening.

    On
white denim, clarity takes hold. Individual feather strokes separate cleanly
along the neck, revealing the precise direction of the brush. The contrast
between pink feathers and black beak sharpens, and the mint phone becomes crisp
and graphic. The spiral cord reads distinctly, each loop defined. This clarity
shifts the emotional tone toward alert presence — connection felt clearly, not
    quietly.

    The
yellow background brightens on white denim, and the floral pattern becomes
decorative and playful. As the jacket moves, contrast remains stable, giving
the artwork a lively, conversational energy that feels open and awake.

    On
black denim, the scene turns inward and cinematic. The flamingo’s pink
compresses into richer tones, with highlights glowing softly against the dark
base. The curve of the neck becomes sculptural, pulling the eye inward. The
black beak nearly dissolves into shadow, while the mint phone lifts forward,
    luminous and calm.

    The
phone and cord glow against black denim, appearing and disappearing as the
fabric folds. The moment feels private here — a conversation carried close to
the body, quiet but attentive. Stillness deepens, color concentrates, and the
act of listening becomes the heart of the scene.

High Quality but spacing is super off

So I love my jacket, it was definitely what I would consider an investment. The jacket is super nice itself but the clarity and pigment of the lettering is even more amazing. Super fast creation + delivery.

My big beef is I feel the dimensions are off from the custom online order. I really wanted the last section to be fully at the base of the jacket (which is as low as it would allow) because I had big patching plans and now I’m super disappointed because of the spaces in between being smaller and a big section below the last line. I Had lots of plans that I can’t execute now that it’s super chopped up and awkward. Posted online vs reality. I got the quality I payed for but not the dimensions unfortunately.

Black jacket

Ordered a black denim jacket. But it doesn't really look true black. Looks like it was over-stonewashed. Looks a little too faded. Other than that, I don't really have any problems with it. Fits well. Comfortable.

Each jacket is hand made and varies in color. In the future, you can leave a note that you want a true black jacket, and we will hand pick one from the inventory.
